Halo Trust mine clearing on the verge of the main road to the north of Kabul. Afghanistan is littered with mines, cluster bombs and UXO and the various mine clearing organisations will be busy for years just clearing the most essential areas such as road verges and agricultural areas.
The sight of mine clearance teams is so common that traffic passes the clearance teams without a glance, everyone is used to living surrounded with explosives and mines.
